Was expecting it to be done in a few days BUT was done with roof on house, attached carport, and 30x40 shop all in one day! They worked their magic and was cleaning up on Day 2. Would recommend to anyone needing a new roof and donโt know how the process works. Working with Chase was great!
This red barn-style shop sits on a rural property in Zachary. When Roof Rescue came out in mid-March 2026, part of its old corrugated metal roof had been peeled back off the framing near the peak, leaving the rafters open to the sky over the work area below.
The scope on the job estimate was short and specific.
The March photos show sheets of corrugated metal lifted and folded back near the peak, with broken pieces of the old lats sticking up through the gap. From inside the shop, daylight came straight through the framing, and a fluorescent light fixture hung under open sky.
On a building like this, the metal is screwed to horizontal lats that run across the rafters. Here, the torn section had taken broken lats with it. New 2×4 lats give every panel a sound, straight run of wood to fasten into, so the new roof is not relying on old, damaged lumber.
On the work day, the crew stripped the main gable of the shop down to the rafters and laid new 2×4 lats across it. By the end of the photo set, that gable was covered in new silver metal panels, with the old sheets stacked on the grass beside the building.
Roof Rescue photographed the damage on March 14, 2026. The roof work photos, from bare rafters to finished metal, were all taken on March 25, 2026.
